Once upon a time, there were three little pigs.
むかしむかし、三匹のこぶたがいました。
The first little pig built his house of straw.
一匹目のこぶたは、わらで家を建てました。
The second little pig built his house of sticks.
二匹目のこぶたは、木の枝で家を建てました。
The third little pig built his house of bricks, strong and sturdy.
三匹目のこぶたは、丈夫なレンガで家を建てました。
One day, a big bad wolf came to the straw house.
ある日、大きくて悪い狼がわらの家にやってきました。
The wolf huffed and he puffed and he blew the straw house down!
狼がフーフー息を吹きかけると、わらの家は吹き飛ばされてしまいました！
The first pig ran to the second pig's house of sticks.
一匹目のこぶたは、二匹目のこぶたの木の枝の家へ逃げ込みました。
The wolf came to the stick house and blew it down too!
狼は木の枝の家にもやってきて、それも吹き飛ばしてしまいました！
The two pigs ran to the third pig's strong brick house.
二匹のこぶたは、三匹目のこぶたの頑丈なレンガの家へ走っていきました。
The wolf huffed and puffed, but he could not blow the brick house down.
狼はいくらフーフー息を吹きかけても、レンガの家は吹き飛ばせません。
So the wolf tried to come down the chimney.
そこで狼は煙突から降りてこようとしました。
But the clever pigs put a pot of boiling water in the fireplace!
しかし賢いこぶたたちは、暖炉に熱いお湯の鍋を置いていました！
The wolf fell right into the pot and ran away!
狼は鍋の中に落ちてしまい、逃げていきました！
The three little pigs lived happily ever after in their brick house.
そして三匹のこぶたは、レンガの家でずっと幸せに暮らしました。
